There are 4 distinct sets of credentials you will have at Codehaus
LDAP Credentials
These are your basic username / password credentials. They can be used for the following services:
SSH Keys
These are your SSH DSA keys that previously provided access to the Codehaus shell server (beaver). As shell use is significantly more limited than before, these keys will only be used to provide access to the following services:
- CVS - we are recommending that projects upgrade to Subversion as possible. New projects will not be configured with CVS.
- Build servers - where shell access is required to the build servers, the keys will be synchronised from a central location.
JIRA Credentials
Used to access JIRA (http://jira.codehaus.org/) these credentials are not shared with any other system. JIRA will soon be reconfigured to use the LDAP credentials.
Confluence Credentials
Used to access Confluence (http://docs.codehaus.org/) these credentials are not shared with any other system. Confluence will soon be reconfigured to use the LDAP credentials.
