Xircles is the management platform deployed at The Codehaus to help provide a consistent and manageable environment for opensource development. Through Xircles, projects can manage almost every aspect of their environment.

Xircles is closed source software produced by OpenXource for the purposes of managing multi-project opensource development sites. OpenXource provides The Codehaus with this software to help manage the environment. Unsurprisingly, the founders of OpenXource are either the founder (Bob 'The Despot' McWhirter) or primary administrators (Ben Walding) at The Codehaus.
